Well both work similarly, but lsdj lets you double the effects

I'm not sure what you mean by double the effects, unless you can apply effects to the two pannings of a channel separately or something. in famitracker you can hit dat right arrow button and get more effects columns per column per row

I mean the instrument itself can have preset effects, and you can add additional effects on top of that in the fx column
