Sure! I'll just put everything I can think of for now.
suggestions:
- Subsequent forum award threads should be made after the year is complete (not before the year ends). For example, the 2012 FFR forums awards should be made in January 2013. This way, we have the full proper selection of songs for voting. This year was particularly unfortunate in that the official tourney was underway and was therefore releasing a ton of new songs at the end of the year while voting occurred.*
- For questions with a reasonably finite number of answers, such as songs or users of a certain group, a drop down list will restrict any incorrect choices (I know you know this already Hammy). Some people in this thread have also suggested something similar, but also mentioned that usernames could be be recognized and an appropriate list is provided afterwards (I don't know how hard it would be to code this, but it certainly would help people to answer a question correctly). Such restrictions, especially when they're not given in the order of date (e.g. drop down list of songs alphabetically ordered), may help remind people of some of the choices that occurred earlier throughout the year that they may have otherwise forgotten about.
- A list of definitions! This sounds silly, but many people don't actually know what a moderator does, or a music artist does vs a simfile artist, etc. Clarification on these terms will help people make the right choices, especially for open-ended questions that lack limited choices via a drop down box. Actually, a list of definitions would do good for the whole site in general.
- A reminder to people of what voting is for: to acknowledge who is best qualified for a certain category, as opposed to choosing favorites/most hated. Obviously, we can't stop people from making the choices they want, but maybe a reminder can go a long ways.
- Some categories appear to be too vague, or not of much use anymore (e.g. "favorite poster").

I don't really talk to darkshark much to know what he can do, but if he was only chosen for making graphics, that's not a talent... that's a skill. For me, it's a tossup between Velocity and devonin. I am a little upset to not see devonin's name in the list because this guy has done so much for FFR. Now that he's retired, it kind of sucks to see not many people respect what he has put for FFR. Velocity is a great contender for his contributions to coding and such, but I don't really use the newer features of FFR (Velo's engine) heh.Comment
