    It doesn't really bother me what day it is, Halloween will always be Halloween to me.

        I'm "too old" to trick-or-treat, but I'm not old enough (I guess that's a matter of opinion) to have children to take trick-or-treating, so changing the date to Saturday instead of whenever it falls just makes me hand out candy on a different day. In the grand scheme of things, this doesn't seem like a very big issue. It would take time for everyone to adjust since Halloween has always been October 31st, but I feel like it wouldn't be a huge issue. In fact, I'm sure kids would love it, and possibly some parents.

        Like a few above me have said, we have more important issues to deal with. If we can find a way to balance the United States budget first, I'm sure we can then find a way to balance those in favor versus those against this change in date of Halloween.

            Besides, why is the American Govt talking about Halloween instead of more important things.. o_o;

                        Halloween on a Saturday? Cool. While we're at it, let's condense Christmas back to one day instead of the last 4 months of the ****ing year.

                            They'd never do it because Christmas is the biggest Commercial holiday of the year.

                                We do trick or treating on actual Halloween, all of the partying takes place on the Saturday before and/or after though
