I've recently been listening to a lot of the stuff Ark has been churning out, as well as the works of those that have made something with Ark.

Personally, while I agree that the song is really bland and there's nothing that sticks out, I absolutely love listening to it simply because it's Rebecca Black. After all of the unnecessary hate and drama she still does a bunch of stuff that shows that even though she knows she's not great she still works hard and doesn't take things too seriously. This kind of reaction and way of listening to music is rare for me, but I find it entertaining enough to appreciate it.

I bet people don't expect this from me either, since I have a reputation for being a pretty hard critic. :P

If we're going to use her previous song as the standard then of course it's not too bad. To give it a 7 for a pop song though should immediately erase all of your credibility. Compared to songs like hung up by madonna this isn't even pop. Not once was I tempted to bob my head, and I'm far more open minded than most when it comes to mainstream pop. This is trashola.
