I can definitely see Linux overtaking Mac/Windows.
Especially since most Linux distributions are FREE.

And Ubuntu has a neat little tool that lets you dual-boot between it and Windows:
Ubuntu is an open source software operating system that runs from the desktop, to the cloud, to all your internet connected things.

I just now opened this thread, and I thought it was kind of a load of crap to begin with; why would Windows 8 have a beta so soon? (But with how much Microsoft is pathetically trying to copy Apple instead of just being original, I wouldn't be too surprised.)

                Are you stupid?
You missed the point entirely since I posted that link for anyone that actually wanted to try linux out. So far no other distros have a Windows installer like that, so I posted the Ubuntu one. Which is just as well, since so far Ubuntu is the easiest distro to cross over from Windows with. Obviously someone just now trying out Linux won't know anything about Linux so why should they start out hard?

Quit trying to be afrobean you suck at it

actually no, your wrong in this aspect, Ubuntu is an easy distro to start with but when you want to play games or what ever on it you got the entire drama with apt-get, thats why I tell people to use http://www.linuxmint.com/download.php when they start because its an modified version of ubuntu but ajusted for easy usage so it has wineHQ and other software pre installed for easy use and beginners

Still not seeing a Windows Installer that sets up a dual boot automatically...
