pfft...well why don't we just get back on topic? Anyhow...wether or not Moogy contributes to the website or not...has nothing to do with the fact that someone is using a glitch on members (freezing their...computer or internet or whatever it is...somebody clear it up for me.). As nickadeemus said, Synth gave permission to him (which would probably be the same for the other chat mods) to use this only on EXTREME cases. A bit of spam isn't considered extreme, otherwise, this would be used daily. Extreme cases are like chicks masturbating on cam *remember that thread?* . I personally do see something wrong in this picture...
Ananana: Girls are so complicated. That\'s why I\'m not a lesbian.
Anuj: Marry me Karen XD
Anuj: omfg somebody suck my wee wee >.<
I dont go into the chat much. So take that note immediately. Take note also that the views are not necessarily listed in order of what I think is right.
VIEW #1: Moogy is wrong. He spammed like a motherfucker. Talking to him online about every day, I know he does the whole spamming thing quite a bit. Randomly. Whinily. If all of what Jello said was true, then Moogy was trolling for serious. That's not particularly appreciated here. Especially trolling against the game, etc. I forgot the rest of this view. But I think you get the general idea, so on to the next one.
VIEW#2: Moogy is right. Obviously he offended te moderators. Okay. That happens to everyone one time or another. But clearly the mods overreacted. Doing the freeze kick just once to him might be acceptable, possibly borderline. But then, he inquired as to why he was kicked, and got freeze kicked again. If the first kick was borderline, this was definitely a line step, in the wrong direction.
Right now It's a debate for me as to who was right. And now the Mods will have their guard very up. So it's going to be rather hard to determine who is correct.
Let me take a look. Ill be back with infos, probably.
I employ the freeze kick only for extreme cases also. Let's say maybe an individual is constantly spamming or sexually harrassing members of the chat, then I will do the freeze kick. Other then that I don't do it. Most of the time, If I have someone that doesn't get the point, I'll kick them about 5 or 6 times when they enter the chat, after which they apologize and there are no more problems. Use common sense, I kick foolish perverts and bored spammers, and extremely rude and offensive chatters that have nothing better to do but start up a massive flame war.
Jello, I commend you for not putting up with Moogy's shit.
The chat mods were given such powers for a reason: to use them at their discretion. If Moogy hadn't built a solid reputation of being stupid, this could have been avoided, but one person who could do something to curb his antics got fed up and didn't allow it. I see no problem. Plus, if the FFR chat degenerates into a fiasco of kicking random people, well, whoop-dee-shit. No big loss, even though I enter it from time to time.
Snapps, very nice demostration with the thread link from LD's forums.

We use the IE freeze thing, because currently we can not ban people from the chat who keep acting up. I don't care if you're being serious or not, this is never an excuse.
