Snow on December 24, 2004 was a real treat; one inch in Houston, but more where I live. More snow on December 10, 2008. And on December 4, 2009, depending what part of the southeast Great Houston area you were at, you either got rain/sleet mix or sleet/snow mix.

I was home in Victoria when it snowed back in '04. Never thought I'd actually have a "White Christmas".

All I know is that the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland section of B.C. is reported to be going into our coldest winter in 55 years.
