Good luck doing anything that involves going out for the next few days. Talking and eating are just miserable. I ate only mashed potatoes for 7 days straight Even a peanut butter sandwhich was painful to eat.

Okay, well I got them out & I'm sitting here waiting for this numbing to go away. My lips, tongue, & chin are completely numb. The doctor said I really shouldn't have too much pain surprisingly. He said my only real problem should be my cheeks that will swell, which right now, they don't even look swelled at all. So, yeah, hopefully this all goes well.

I had absolutely no problem getting my wisdoms out. They knocked me out with some gas, and I was fine later that day. No pain, and pretty much fully healed in a few days.

At first I thought I was going to pull mine out because the back of my gums started hurting but then I researched online that I had gum abscess so I just bought some stuff at walmart. So I just popped the abscess let the puss run out and then poured that stuff in my mouth and it went away in 2 days 8)

I had absolutely no problem getting my wisdoms out. They knocked me out with some gas, and I was fine later that day. No pain, and pretty much fully healed in a few days.

This is exactly how it's supposed to be for me pretty much, hoping it really is though.

The younger you are, the less painful it is generally. As you grow older, nerves connect and grow to your gums and teeth; that's why a procedure can be painful for some. I got my wisdom teeth out at 18 or 19 (can't remember) with general anesthetics, and I didn't feel any pain when my teeth were removed. I was injected with some chemicals that made me drowsy - next thing you know, I see myself sitting in the waiting room without any recollection of my teeth being pulled.

You should do just fine Vanilla. IMO, the dull aching of the teeth afterwards was the most "pain" I got. Most annoying thing though is accidentally drooling blood all over yourself.

I got a sore throat, and after 3 days the swelling wasn't bad and I didn't feel pain.

1) About a day and a half, however I had impacted molars too so I probably had a lot more bleeding.

2) All my antibiotics, all my anti-inflamitories, and I didn't need the pain killers at all but they were fun times.

1. Bleeding goes on for a few days (1-3 days pretty common). However, the dull ache can last for several weeks. Eventually, everything disappears.
2. I can't remember taking many, if any, medications at all. All I remember is letting my mouth heal with cotton or some other absorber for several days.

Got mine out when I was 16, almost exactly 2 years ago. I only had some dull pain in between doses of vicodin, which I only needed twice the day of the surgery. Swelled cheeks is pretty much all I had to endure for a while plus eating soft foods for a week or two. Oh yeah and I did it the weekend before school started =S
