If there was any sarcasm intended in this post at all, I completely missed it. Your lack of sentence structure left me no way to interpret voice pitch, tone, or anything.

You do realize this IS just a big joke right? Even the people bidding on it are doing it for lulz. Nobody would even care what the cloud looked like. They would just have some fancy piece of paper saying they owned a damn cloud (which I feel would be even more hilarious if it was just a blank white sheet of paper, with childish writing done in crayon). After that, they could just walk outside, point randomly into the air and be like 'Yup, I own that. That one right there.'

Because every time I read a sentence with an error like that, I think less of the poster. The more you do it, the less I think of you, until your opinions mean nothing at all.

I'm not alone in this regard. You could be the best debater in the world, but if you say a word a dozen times during your speech incorrectly, most people are only going to notice the fact that you said the word incorrectly rather than actually listen to your statements.

Think about it. If a teacher comes in with a leaf or two in her hair, most of your time is going to be spent guessing how long it'll take for her to find out while you try to contain your snickering. You won't be paying attention to the lesson.

That's what grammatical mistakes mean to people.
