Although my school doesn't have President's Day off, the schools that did get this day off had to go to school on some other holiday. The state-wide policy is to have 181 days of school.

Today is Family Day in Canada.


It's bull since government workers still have to work.

FYI, It only exists in Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan. And since it is a statutory holiday, anyone who is required to work gets time and a half anyway, so it isn't like it is a huge burden to have to go in.
