Go see a doctor NOW. It's urgent.. I think

Anyway, you should really go see a doctor now if you want to have a chance to regain hearing.

Edit: woops... didn't saw your post above sorry

Edit2: when your gonna be back, can you tell us what did the doctor said ? I'm interested

Also, be sure it's not just airpockets in your ears. I went through something like the same, 'cept it was Less Claypool. For some reason, I stuck a qtip in my ear and everything was fine.

Well, you probably already know this, but you need to take a good, long break from FFR.

I had an uncle who did this to himself before I was even born and he thought "Oh, it will go away eventually". For the past 10 years, we've had to yell at him just to get his attention. And his doctor says he can't hear any sound below 1800 Hz...

He lost the majority of his hearing when he was in the front row of an In Flames concert sometime around 1994.

Apparently listening to classical music could train your ear to be more efficient.

but really, your hearing should be good in 2-3 days after the concert.

Re: Does anyone know how to regain hearing.

My friend took a dog squeaky toy up to my right ear and squeezed it. Even that made me loose hearing. My right ear now has about 20% healing loss. This happened 2 years ago and has not gotten any better. Hope it goes away and honestly, I would consider suing unless they hold you responsible for standing next to the speakers, never been to a concert so I wouldn't know.

EDIT: why the hell didn't you talk to your mom in the first place lol.

Wow man, thats gross. Only thing I have had close to that is when my ear drum burst from water pressure. Bad day that was.

Anyways, I really feel bad for you...I don't know any way, and I hope you can recover from the effects of the concert soon. I've had terrible hearing (since second grade-ish), and I can barely hear people talking to me when they sit next to me. And I focus on music in life ahahaha

What we would usually do is that I would take a page from the local newspaper, roll it up into a cone, and burn the wide end while the thin end is placed inside the ear. After a few minutes, your hearing would sound a lot better.

Re: Does anyone know how to regain hearing.

Next time try to not stand in front of a speaker.

Luckily the one time I got stuck in front of a speaker, it was an mc chris concert that lasted around an hour, so after a day, everything was all good. Most of my concert experiences have been via a press pass, so I was able to navigate freely in front of the stage to avoid direct sound rapage.

Also, glad to hear that you got your hearing back, a strange manner, very disgusting, but at least it's back.
