the internet is for pr0n so... wh0 cur'z how pplz tipe ? Just kidding. I think if you know what their saying, it doesn't have to be a 6/6 essay, and periods and commas arn't necessary online to friends. But the people who go all out 'pplz who tipe lyke diz doods' is .. well to most people its annoying but to me i find it entertaining on many levels, mostly because I don't come in contact with these people so when I see it, I can just laugh.

Sometimes I type in a large vocabulary without even thinking about it and people often assume that I'm trying to look intelligent.

Well, unfortunately, that's not really anything we can avoid. The same happened to me in this thread actually...

And, @KgZ, acronyms are a part of chatspeak, though as devonin said, abbreviations take up a much larger part of the whole.
