the steelers super bowl victory WAS BS. i know it was great for the bus to end his career with a ring, but the game itself was probably the worst super bowl i've seen.

I'm guessing you've watched very few, then. And how does a game that happens to bore your oh-so-educated palate automatically become a BS game?

one person said it was boring. another said it was BS. don't mix us up. but anyway, i haven't watched a ton of super bowls, but it certainly had the worst officiating of the millennium.

okay, i suppose objectivity within reason is possible, but technically it's impossible. we're both right, depending on how you look at it.

The FACT is, the officiating in the Seahawks, Steelers game was poor. You'd have to turn blind to the game and deaf to what anyone else has to say to think less. ESPN analysts thought so, sport's writers thought so, etc etc. I am not making excuses for the Seahawks mind you, they had their chances, and they lost the game. I am saying, however, the outcome COULD have been different given some calls made by the refs.

Much of what you've been saying has been completely unsubstantiated, so I don't want to hear it.

And, if you want a black and white completely incorrect call, watch the Pittsburgh vs. Indianapolis playoff game from that year. The NFL later apologized for the mistakes.

@ Ledwix, I have a full copy of the game, and through the times that I've watched that, I disagree with a lot of the criticism, also objectively, just as I disagree with a lot of the criticism in the Baltimore vs. New England game, no matter who's in the uniforms.

PS: How about all the calls that were not made against the Ravens during the game against the Patriots? I'd say a good deal of penalties slipped through the cracks, so to speak.

i watched the game... the ravens brought that loss entirely on themselves, the patriots are just lucky as hell to have won that game.
