they cheated against the jets and they almost certainly cheated against other teams.

so because they were caught using spygate (which was terminated before halftime before they even got to use it, and which technically wasnt anywhere in the rules from what i heard on ESPN at the time), it must mean that they almost certainly have been cheating in other games throughout the season.

eastside - the fact that it was only uncovered once means it has stopped for good? you aren't cheating if you don't get caught?

LOL, an average of nearly 40 points per game is nothing? averaging a point spread of nearly 22 ppg is nothing? id say you need more than just good pass protection to do that...

i was actually getting more at what the NFL would be doing to prevent the cheating, paying more attention to the pats becase they were caught that one time, etc.... wouldnt you think the NFL would be keeping a closer watch on them?

ps no. i grew up an FSU fan, and was really never interested in profootball. i did not gain interest in pro untill i was living in rhode island. i was 10. the pats were the local team. i rooted for them. ive since moved back to florida and have remained rooting for the pats.

and to this day, ive always been alot more interested in college football.

Also you want a game where the refs didn't help anyone...how bout Superbowl boring, Seahawks and Steelers. Refs cost the Seahawks overall 13+ points....course I could be biased, I am a Seahawk fan.

Speculation, and a weak argument. If you want to argue, at least put up something to support it.

Note that nobody ever got to see what was on the tapes and the tapes were destroyed at the NFL offices immediately without further review. We don't even know for sure that anything was on it, and for all we know, the rest of the tapes they collected could have shown other superbowl-winning teams cheating.

Stop speculating, it's not getting your argument anywhere.

By the way, this year, they're undefeated, without any videotaping to help them along (the first game against the Jets, by the way, they didn't even get to see anything from the tapes, as they were confiscated by halftime).
