Uh oh, an 18 year old wants to do adult things, better have her shamed for life. The fact that it was for personal intentions should make it understandable enough for the rest of the world, but since it's Disney, and since we loooove our celebrities, she's going to have stalkers, death threats, etc. We expect kids' role models to be perfect, while simultaneously turning them into whores with bratz dolls, anorexic models, drug use, all that fun stuff.

Time will pass, people will care less about it when she gets "older".

How did it leak if it was supposed to be private? Gee, maybe someone intruded her privacy and stole it because she's famous and having a photo of a young and popular celebrity should be pretty big news.

Or, her boyfriend isn't of upright character and released them. Or, they're both totally irresponsible and didn't keep a good enough lock and key over them.

Anyway, "everyone" does that kind of stuff.

Not everyone is a public icon and role model for kids.

It was private. Not intended for anyone to see, aside from herself and probably one other person. Also, the picture set looks like they were all taken while she held the camera or on a timer.

So? Regardless of their intent, this fiasco still shows that she's willing to disrobe and have nude pictures of herself taken. Nobody ever has any need to do something like that. This still shows that she's sexually irresponsible (pardon the term; don't read too much into it) and not somebody after whom you'd want your children modeled. Nobody's going to call for her arrest or anything; I'm just telling you why this is a problem for her and for her fans.
