The only type of "common cold" I ever get is where I am totally knocked out. I have a temeparture of 106 degrees, a huge head ache, and a disability to even DRINK water.

My doctor said it was a common cold, but I don't like to believe that.

My only solution is a 72 hour slumber, it always works for me.

Inhaling smoke makes your nose run sometimes. I don't think he wants anymore of that.

I usually just deal with it. If it's really bad, I take Nyquil and then gargle salty water. Works.

The questions:

Do you cough frequently? Does it hurt?

Are you stuffed? Headaches?

Because my brothers get frequent colds... there is this cream we put on their chests, back, and under the nose before the go to sleep. What it does is it becomes warm on the area and releases oils (good ones)...

and THAT works if you put it on for 3 days straight (even for strep).

It's called:

Tannenblut: Herbal Balm

Edit: or what I usually do is take vitamin C and drink hot lemon tea and lots and lots of chicken soup, however it take more time than the cream.

And just breathe steam from boiling water...

Never been sick, but a few sites said lemon juice.

I just got over a cold a week ago. Now i'm getting another one. I'm using halls menthol cough drops, drinking vitamin water (Vitamin C, etc), and I guess ill get some rest. It kind of sucks because I have to take the SATs tomorrow =(

Hm..I've been sick for the past three weeks...so I'm guessing nothing I suggest is going to work anyways. xD
