Who's to say OSU won't make those same mistakes again? OSU may be good, but if they makes that many dumb mistakes they're not that good, right? The INT was luck, yes, but Smith had no business throwing into that blanketing double coverage, and the other two fuck-ups weren't bad luck.

As for the running game, take away those two long TD runs (one of which was a stellar fake that likely wouldn't work again) and OSU has 99 yards on 25 carries, nowhere close to "running the ball up and down" anyone.

I'll admit there was no excuse for the passing game (even with their starting safety getting injured right off the bat), Smith made Hall look like an idiot on multiple occasions.

However, with those long runs, OSU has 200 yards on 25 carries. Those two runs, one of them by a freshman, were huge defensive breakdowns that are huge reasons that they did run up and down the defense.

Those mistakes are mistakes that OSU RARELY, if EVER makes. I don't know why they made them, but I do know that they won't make those mistakes again.

The same can be said of Michigan's rush defense. I know that they won't allow runs like that ever again with just as much certainty that you know OSU won't do dumb things again.

Also that new grass f'ucked up Michigan quite a bit. Some big plays that were screwed up cause of the crappy field.

It sucks how the Wisconsin Badgers end up at 11-1 and most likely won't even get into a BCS bowl... that's full of crap.

I still think that OSU wins the rematch... if it happens, which it very well could. Troy Smith torched the Michigan secondary. The running game is too good for Michigan's defense to handle, especially along with the dominant passing game. It'll be close, but OSU will still pull through

Go cry to USC, Florida, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Louisville and Rutgers. I'm sure they'll lend a sympathetic ear.

HOLY CRAP!

So, USC loses to UCLA, and Florida beats Arkansas today.

To me, it's is clear that Michigan now gets the rematch. They're no. 2 in the nation, and have proven themselves throughout the season.

Florida should go to one of the BCS bowl games, just not the title game.

So happy for the rematch!

Bah, Florida's going to jump in the polls more than people think they will. I would hazard a guess that USC was so close to Michigan in percentage points because pollers were split on who of USC and Florida to put ahead of Michigan in order to avoid a rematch. Now, with USC at two losses, all of its supporters will swing over to Florida to combine with the voters already there, putting them ahead of Michigan.

It's a sad state of affairs when a national title contender is determined by geographic laction and schedule content rather than schedule result quality and team talent.

Is anyone else extremely mad with the BCS, and Florida getting into the title game instead of Michigan?

The situation with Florida passing Michigan to play in the title game against OSU proves that college football needs a playoff system. No matter if you think Florida or Michigan should play, the fact that there is even a debate says it all.

Personally, I think that Michigan got robbed. They have been no. 2 for the past few weeks, and they get passed by Florida because...why? Just because they didn't play the last two weeks should not be a reason for Florida to pass them. The only thing that Florida has going for them is that they play in the hardest conference, but they barely won many of their games. Michigan's only lost was to OSU, by 3, at Columbus.

If anything, they should've had a +1 game between Florida and Michigan to see you got to play Ohio State in the Championship game.
