Re: Would you risk your life?

Esupin - Dying for something, and dying for a situation is completely different.

I would risk my life for my family
I would risk my life for my girlfriend

I "might" risk my life depending on the situation for a random person.

The question was a random person. Thus your quote isn't in the right context.

Oh. He said 'for example', so I thought he was giving an example, not the actual question. Didn't read carefully enough, but it's still a good quote.

Re: Would you risk your life?

Like people have said before it's just basically the situation. For example, If I was there on 9/11 I wouldn't run in to one of the towers to save a random person. If it was family or someone close to me I would do it in a heartbeat.

Re: Would you risk your life?

Your question is rather vague. No I wouldn't directly risk my life and take a bullet for some random person I didn't know, but I would definitely call the cops. Intervening like that will make the situation worse, especially if the dangerous situation involves people. A natural disaster is kinda iffy. If the person is someone I really do hold dear, of course I would risk my life in any way possible to save others.

No matter what the situation is its more than likely I wouldn't give my life to save another.

I would definitely do it, since I strive to be good and w/e blah blah blah

no srsly I probably would leave him or her, unless of course it's this guy:

I would save him and be like "omg it's you from the picture on FFR!" and then throw him back in.

Re: Would you risk your life?

I would never risk myself for someone else. I'm a cold, heartless, calculating guy, and my own life is worth infinately more then anyone else's in my own eyes.

Re: Would you risk your life?

For a random person/people, no. For people I know and really respect who are young and still have many years on their lives, still no.

In any case, I'd try my best to help the situation without putting my own life on the line, i.e. calling 911.

Being that there is no really meaning to life since you're going to die anyways, then sure. why not? you're going to die sooner or later...
