I'm the guy at my house who is in charge of lights. Might I point out that the fact that they sync'd it to music is inane and the level of technical skill whoever it was who set that up is beyond my imagination.

Did it cross no ones mind that they just took pictures of the house in sequence like that with different light settings and then edited them into a film and put it to music? That would be much easier than all the techincal goo-gaw that you all are talking about. It was the first thing I thought of...

I think it was filmed live because if you notice there is a tiny twinkle that occurs on the left side of the screen, in the sky. It's pretty regular and doesn't seem to be fixed with any one or two frame.

They did a piece about this on Inside Edition. Apparently it's part of a show that this guy does every year, so it wasn't photoshopped.
However, you have to tune into the town local radio station to hear it sync'd with the music, the lights play along to a radio station. I suppose they help him to sync it up so nicely.You'll never walk alone.Comment
