Kefit nailed the retail part of a job. Nobody cares about your credentials. At all. I think I said that earlier but in a different manner. Even Tuesday, my last day, I saw it happen. "This software is the best one you can get that will do what you want". It was like $400. There was a $50 that looked just as good. NOT TO MENTION the fact that you can get it online for free; in the form of a demo or freeware (I don't condone illegal software, guys).
Anyway, I would suggest a grocery store after school hours for a first job. I applied to several but never got a return phone call. The store is practically empty, your job is easy, and you RARELY have to deal with people. Ideal job right there. The only thing you have to worry about is what I worry about: Finding something to do. I work in a relatively small store, so I quickly run out of things to do. The supervisors give me assignments expecting me to take an hour or two to complete it, then leave. I finish it in 15 minutes and do nothing for the rest of my time there. It sounds nice, but after just a half-hour of standing around doing nothing, it gets boring. Fast. You cannot talk to other employees, you can't play on any equipement (there's really nothing to play with), and you can't bring an entertainment device (book, gameboy, etc).
