Because Bush has the IQ of cheese and choked on a pretzel, yet we still feel that as Americans we allow him to keep his finger on the button for an additional four years. The rest of the world has hated us for the last four years because of his foreign idiocy, yet we still reelected the man. Everybody but the rich has been absolutely miserable for the last quartet of 365 days, but rather than renounce our political party and admit that the man they elected was a dumbass, they voted for him anyway. That is why I wanted John Kerry to win, I didn't want another four years...of that.

Economic downturn is definitely Bush's fault... That is most definitely the reason why 'everyone but the rich' is doing poorly. It is in no way because of the bursting of the tech bubble in 2000 that is just starting to resurge.

And god forbit the business cycle is actually a cycle. It averages a 4% gain but it still has it's ups and downs.

I hate Keynesian economics... trickle down doesn't really work that well guys...

And say what your want about what Kerry might have spent, Bush has spent quite a bit as well. He hasn't rejected a spending bill yet, eh?

The deficit hit its limit of 7.384 trillion dollars oct 14... I don't think you could really trust Bush to cut down on spending. (Source: Cincinnati Enquirer, Tuesday Nov. 4)

Keynesian economics is not necessarily trickle-down; that is more supply-side which is what Reagan did, they are not the same thing. Though Bush is more supply side he will follow the Keynesian policies on business cycle spending.

Also the deficit ceiling hits its limit all the time... And every time it hits that limit, congress raises the limit. It's just a debt control ceiling that was instituted and ignored, it has no relevance to your argument.
