I'm finished my character picture and I made a bad attempt at shadowing (o_O It sucks). I tried to try to shadow the neck by adding ten pencil crayon and it didn't turn out the way I planned it. So I decided not to do that anymore. I like the highlight in the hair. Since I wasn't good at clothing, I decided just to make jeans, A long-sleeved shirt and an armored vest =P. The shirt has a lot of wrinkles in it, too. I can't make swords, so I didn't draw one here. I'll have the people making the RPG worry about that lmao. I can't scan the picture in right now because the scanner's only connected to the old computer and the old computer's turned off. I'll get the picture in tomorrow I promise.

Yeah, I suppose. Wandering shopkeeps aren't all that hard to do. If you make any more good sprites maybe you'll do more cool stuff in the game (hint hint)Originally posted by PolygothHey...since I made Kilga's sprite, I gotta idea... how about making me a "Traveling merchant". Like...make me randomly walk around in all towns and such, and sell some items that you cant get at the normal shops or something. Not REALLY good items, just some items that would be helpful or something.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

Don't worry about the Roll world map sprite. No time now, but I'll explain later. Sleepy time for now, though. So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

omfg..... I've come up with the best idea in the world..... ahem....
Evilbutterfly.... you have no idea who I am, and most likely, you probably aren't even considering adding me into the game.... but here is what i thought.... if you aren't gonna add me into the game..... then this is what you should do..... how bout im an npc, that is always everywhere you go (like in each city, or everyothe city or something) but when you talk to me..... the characters is like.... "who are you?" and then my character (npc) is like "Well... I'm Zajac.... Don't you remember me?" and so one and so forth with slightly different text for each time you meet up with me.... eh? EH? and then maybe like the last time you meet up with me, you are like "Aren't you that one Polak?" and then I'm all excited and stuff for you remembering me and then I give you a free item or skill or something (as a close to end of game item) or something like that..... hope you know what I'm talking about.....
I mean.... It only makes sence that you should probably do that, cuz I AM active on FFR and stuff, but no one knows me..... ~sigh~
tell me what you think about that idea.....Originally posted by Spec & ApersonWe Rate You: Cool Motherfucer. 9/10Comment

Yeah, zajac's idea would be very easy to do, too.
Just add a variable, like "zajac_talk" or something and set it to +1 every time you talk to him.
And then in the next place he's supposed to appear, have his event require the variable zajac_talk to be at whatever.
Like, the first place you meet him and talk, it gets set to 1.
In the next place, the variable has to be at 1 for him to appear.
Etc.
You get the idea.Comment

1) Yeah, Moogy, I knew that already. Variables are fun fun fun. Well, not fun, but useful, and the results can be fun.
2) Laharl is right. It can take 10 MP or 10% MP. You can do it either way
3) Polygoth, good sprites. I'll add you in eventually
4) The reason nobody should worry about the Roll sprite is because out of her battle suit thingy she's just a girl, and there's a girl sprite already that looks pretty fitting, so I'm using that.
5) Keep the good ideas coming. So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

Actually, Laharl, you can set skills/spells to take up a percentage of the players mana instead of a set amount.
And zajac, that isn't too bad of an idea.Afrobean16 (8:58:05 PM): you're evil incarnateComment

Here's the picture I promised you. The scanner sucks and doesn't show the true colour. I just gave up on the hands so thats why the hands suck. I hope someone can make sprite sheets for me cause I suck at making them. By the way I have black shoes.Attached FilesComment
