I don't understand all the bitch-wars ITT.

I like Friends, I like HIMYM, I like Seinfeld, and I like(d) BBT.

Parts of BBT are actually pretty funny, idgaf what anyone says. There's some good stuff in there. The characters are entertaining, too. Granted, there are tons of cringey, poorly-executed jokes in there as well. As Dev said, it's pretty much Nerdface.

Furthermore, the show as a whole has declined in quality since the first few seasons. It's lost its quirk, and has become just like any other boring sitcom where people are floating in and out of relationships and experiencing the corresponding joys/heartbreaks that come with the territory. I got bored and stopped watching.

I can agree with this. BBT isn't nearly as bad as people in this thread portray it. It's certainly not a masterpiece, and as stated by several people, has declined in quality since it first came out. However, i feel there are far worse shows than this on Television.

From my what I've with this show, it's certainly not the worst one out there. Just seems like a lot of mediocre, "nerdy" humor designed to cater to non-nerds (if there are any). Mediocre it may be, but still enjoyable to an extent. Don't see why we have to suddenly cancel BBT now, can wait for a few years.
