Maintenance, gas, insurance, parking costs are things people always seem to forget.

I'm assuming this is in reference to buying a car in general as opposed to discussing the new vs used concept. You have to realize that public transportation is not the same everywhere.

I admit I've moved so I'm a lot closer to the university (it'd only be a 50 minute walk) but it comes at the expense of having to wake up earlier. Perhaps I could bike...idk.

If I ever bought a car, I'd hire a driver. I seriously feel weird sitting up front in cars now, the back seat is where it's at.
