What is your Fav FLCL "moment"?

my favorite part would have to be when Naota is talking to himself at night asking where Haruko went and she turns over and asks if he's going to admit his undying love for her and she comes down to his bunk and he simply breaks down and falls into her arms, telling her never to leave again and she just sits there looking away and hugging him.

Another of my favorite parts was (I forgot which episode) when Mamimi is standing on the bridge smoking and Naota tell her not to smoke or something. lol random favorites but oh well. :\

How can you pick just one favorite moment. The show is so awesome, even though i really didnt understand any of it. I guess i would have to go with the Manga style scenes. They were great as well as the part when Naota first meets Haruko with the whole slow motion thing and guitar hitting.

There a dozens and dozens of awesome scenes, but moments are different. I think it is amazing that, in 6 episodes, Gainax was able to create one of the undisputed "best animes ever" amoung those who have seen it.

Now that I've seen the series, I'd have to say my favorite scene was at the end, where Naota tells Haruko that he's in love with her. The song playing during that scene really enhanced it a lot, too, in my opinion.

Oh Hey! That's a great idea! And while your at it, why don't you suggest we play some Lost Prophets or some other group that makes millions of dollars! No we can't make a stepfile from this song because Synth doesn't have copyrights to the song and hes has to have The Pillows consent anyway. Royalty laws suck.

i'd have to say my fave FLCL moment was in the very beginning of the fifth episode. here's EXACTLY what they said:

Haruko: Takuun, we're surrounded.
Naota: It's a full-scale attack. They've got snipers, too.
Haruko: Snipers are always so annoying, you know?
Naota: If we move they fire.
Haruko: But we've gotta do something.
Noata: You're right, I'll draw their fire. It's dangerous so-
Haruko: That's the idea. This is your final battle. Go and die to prove that you LOVE ME!!

That sounds like a direct quote from the dub... I kind of ignore that scene though because it's so out of place. Sort of like in episode 4 when Haruko is talking to Naota outside the bakery and she offers to teach him how to bat. It cuts quickly around and there are few strange shots; Kamon's head hitting the ground and Haruko standing behind Naota when in the next shot she's in front of him.

Also i don't think the double u is correct in takkun(it's two "t"s)

Another good scene is in episode 4 when Naota comes home and finds his "father" alone there. Then he gets mad and smashes the TV and the clock flies off and knocks out the fake Kamon. It has just occurred to me that episode 4 is the best one.

my favorite part would have to be when the dad and grampa are in comic mode and they're all facking random and talking about how the kid is "fooly cooly" with the girl and at the end of the series they wre like "WELL WHAT'S FOOLY COOLY, YOU HAVE TO KNOW BECAUSE YOU'RE THE MAIN CHARACTER!"

If you understand what they're talking about, it's not random. Haruko mentions that Naota was getting frisky with Mamimi. Kuri kuri is a japanese phrase which is used to describe breast fondling. So Kamon says furi kuri instead for a joke or something. And if you know anything at all about japanese, you'd know that R's sometimes get turned into L's in translations or something.

i UNDERSTOOD the meaning of fooly cooly, but the fact that they were in manga mode and the way they were acting was facking random.
