I wouldn't be surprised if it was 30mph or less. (30mph is still really fucking fast to be holding onto something, I know this from tubing on a lake, which actually messed up my lower back) and that was from landing on the water hard really hard. I can't imagine falling off at 30mph on the solid ground. Either way unless I see a video there's no way in hell I believe for a second you were going that fast.

Me and my friends do it all the time. One of us drives, and either 1 or 2 people ride on the top while trying to hold on to the sides. The driver's goal is to throw them off.

Oh man fasted I've gone tubing in a boat IS about 60mph, and I attempted first to stand on a 45 degree angle, thinking the speed of the boat would compensate for me balance-- anyhow, I ended up falling, but managing to grab onto the back edge of the tube-- and it SHREDDED my swim trunks off, and I was left nakedly skipping up and down over what felt a cheese grater until I let go/decided I didn't need a second circumcision.

Anyhow that was fun and people should do that instead of on solid ground. I also love getting dragged behind fast snowmobiles hanging onto plastic discs or tubes or GT Snow Racers.

We all know driving fast on top of a car over solid ground is stupid, not much refuting that, we should instead talk about cool stuff that's dangerous-ish but actually not dangerous and is very thrillifying. Slip n slides over long backyards that slope downwards + ramp + inflatable pool is a good one too.
