ok that article says that "jesus said to "give unto caesar" and told jews to pay their taxes"... that is a misqoute and a misunderstanding. he said no such thing. what he said was "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's".... this does not say to give to caesar because it does not specify which things are caesars and which things are god's... it is open to interpretation. the writer of that article lost all credibility in my book with that mistake.

After reading the article I find this guy doesn't have a strong argument for his claims. "After all, the authors did not want the average believer to see what they were doing, but they did want the alert reader to see it. An educated Roman in the ruling class would probably have recognised the literary game being played."

Yeah, lets just overturn hundreds of years of archaeological findings that verify various accounts of the new testament while also discrediting the multitude of scholars who have said time and time again that Jesus of Nazareth was most likely a real person.

That being said, I don't believe in any of the silly religious aspects of Jesus. Jesus was a real man, but that is it, just a man.

@Tps222: You can't say he was "just a man" since his was an inspirational person during and after his life. Sure, I'm not a person to have faith in greater beings, but some of his morals are still good to take away and was a good man that sacrificed quite a bit to help others.
