Re: What did you cook today?
for 125 people at work I cooked chili soup, creamy chicken rice casserole, and hot biscuits.
for myself during breakfast I made sausages, eggs, toast skagen, strawberry/banana/apple/raspberry/blueberry/orange smoothie and baked beans (daily routine)
for lunch I made wings and fries
for supper I'm currently cooking shepherd's pie.Last edited by kommisar; 07-3-2013, 05:57 PM.

Re: What did you cook today?
Today I've cooked nothing so far, but I plan on making pho for supper, got a ton of beef broth in my freezer and leftover prime rib roast. Yesterday I fried onion with some egg, cilantro and roasted cumin for breakfast. For supper cooked, for the first time, an underwhelming Mexican bean pie with buckwheat crust using bacon fat and olive oil, using some local variety of mottled beans and salsa, some extra seasoning. (I have all this delicious home-canned salsa that I'm not using since I react to corn chips, at a loss for what to do with it...I react to the bean quesadilla's I used to make from either/both the multitude of tortilla types I've tried and the fake cheese.) I also threw together some tahini and honey, unwrapped a dried fruit and nut bar, peeled an orange, and packed a lunch for my husband.
Planning on camping this weekend. Gotta cook something on a stick over the campfire, but since I react to hotdogs (all cured meats actually, except bacon from 1 vendor at the market), so I'm thinking kabobs.Last edited by Cavernio; 07-4-2013, 09:04 AM.Comment

Re: What did you cook today?
Made the best fucking omelette I've ever made for breakfast. Simple (muenster and cheddar cheese with a bit of sweet basil), but man was it good. I've never tried cooking it with oil and butter before. I used to always just use pam lol. Makes a huuuuuge difference.boopComment
