Anybody from any state can put up a petition for 'New York" to leave the union. Anybody from any state can vote in support of it.

The same 6000 morons from "the internet" have almost certainly signed every single one of those. It's only full-moron states like Texas that have more than a piddling number of people signed on, most of whom again, are from out of state, and even if all of them were from Texas, represent not even close to 1%
