I've wanted this game since I stumbled upon the teaser trailer last year, I was going to pre-order it but spent all my birthday money buying Rock Band 2 instead, thankfully I'll be getting it next week so I'll be pretty happy.

If you've ever seen Firefly, then transplant 3 of the important characters into leading roles and you have one solid reason to buy ODST.

So, I decided to go out and drop for this today.

Pretty cool idea, but then again it's still halo... I like the way that the campaign is progressing. I haven't tried firefight yet, so I can't comment but it will probably be a nice change of pace from the usual crap. Also, when I found out that the DLC maps were added I was very happy, as I would normally have just passed on those.

Amazing game, no. Fun to play, yeah. Fun with friends, probably the best way to play this.

This is probably why I always have so much fun with halo and always crawl back to it after I start playing other games. I *always* play Halo with friends, hardly ever do I play it without friends playing with me.

I need to buy this game. Just for this.

Mal, Jayne and Wash are all central characters, although they're renamed Buck, Duch, and Mickey. They still retain their personalities - Mickey is happy go lucky and quips all the time, Duch is an explosives expert, and Buck just kicks ass. All the time.

I still need the vidmaster for firefight if anyone is up for it....I got to the 4th set 3rd round 5th wave and my teammates all owned. I was left to fend off a hammer chieftain and pretty much the rest of the wave by myself...

Haha Ill play firefight with someone. Ive actually tried to open a game, but no one joined. Im not sure how to create a game nor how to enter one to be honest though

I don't think they incorporated the match making system for ODST so basically you can only get your friends and recent played with people to join your game, so that might be the cause of your issue. I haven't had much time to play, but if you see me on, don't be afraid to ask cause chances are, Ill gladly play. Hopefully you can read my gamer tag in my sig.

Mine is cvk2paranoia. have an exam tomolo so busy tonight, but ya, I so wanna try and play. Ive managed to fend by myselfg through three entire rounds. I think thats pretty good.

...He was talking about the map pack. Gratz on looking like a tool ;D.

Also TBH...it's the same god damn game engine, and the team is GIGANTIC. They could inhabit their own small island nation. I don't know what they do half the time but they honestly spend WAY to much time and money to do what's pretty much making maps and changing the variables of a game. Gratz Bungie on making one great game, then doing nothing with it for 6 years, real original ;D.

Halo team...successful in business and in the game industry. Fido...well
anyways the game looks fun. Too bad they didn't recreate the multiplayer and put the 3 shot pistol in. Anyone else complaining has that "I'm a rebel!" personality.
