    Out of all of them?

    Useless:
    FF IV-Prince Edgar (all he did was hide)
    FF VI-Gao (Got better chars and couldn't control him in beast mode) Gogo and Yeti were pretty useless too
    FF VII-Cait Sith (Come on, 2 limit breaks? And no decent weaps)
    FF VIII-Selphie (There was just no real use to her IMO)
    FF IX-Amaranth (Just never found a use for him)

    Useful
    FFIV- Cecil pretty much speaks for himself but Reina fills it nicely too with white, black, and summon magic,
    FFVI- Terra (ESPER MODE!)
    FFVII- Cloud, again speaks for himself but also Barret for catastrophe, Cid for highwind
    FFVIII- Squall for Lionheart but also Quistis for her blue magic, Irvine for pulse ammo, and Zell for his combos.
    FF IX- Main char again but also the Zidane/Steiner combo is amazing for magic sword
    BEST AAA SIGHTREAD- XENO-FLOW!
    WORST BF- NWE
    WORST OTHER SCORE-NOVO MUNDO 2-0-0-1
    Tier Points: 88 (88 + 0 for 14 AAAs)

        edgar is far from useless. being able to equip the atma blade and having all his tools make him good. his autocrossbow makes quick work of multiple enemies.

        Gau doesnt suck anywhere IF you know what rages do what.one of the soldier enemies you can use has fire2, which comes in handy early on.

        cait sith...................unless you can nail the instant win in his reel limit, yeah, dont use him.

            I would say other useful additions are Rikku and Wakka, for obvious reasons if you know how to use their overdrives properly. You can do well over a million damage with Wakka, which exceeds damage by Barret, though to be fair you can't break damage in FF7 so it's a biased comparison.

            Not sure why Garnet would be considered one of the best. I would say Steiner is much more useful, throughout the game...he's definitely the strongest for the vast majority of the game except for Quina. (His defense is always really high, he can always deal the most damage, and his trance can wipe out many bosses almost instantly.)


            As for Ninja's in FF3, Onion Knights with Onion Equips are way way better (Like double the damage, and exponentially higher defense), but relatively difficult to get unless you're using the equipment glitch.


            Useless characters...Scholar from FF3 on the NES >_>
            Don't take the damage exceeding limits from ff 10 in account with the damage cap from ff 7. Barret can do over 1 million damage WITH a damage cap. Of course Wakka can do it without lol

                    Wat Gogo's useless? He can repeat whatever move you decide to do.

                    How is that useless? Plus he can use anything your characters can, if you edit his menu. THAT is pretty op.

                    Zell still does more damage than Irvine, even if you max Irvine. Because you can keep doing Zell's stupid little moves if you're fast enough for forever or until your thumbs break off.

                    You shouldn't talk down to people you don't know anything about, acting like you know more and then try to show them up in the forum. That's how you get absolutely no where.

                        Actually Khezo has some bad input

                        Umaro was amazing on FF6, he had extremely high physical defense and his attacks were based upon the amount of HP the enemy you were fighting had. Throwing a team mate resulted in a lot of damage.

                        Barret's 4th limit catastrophe was probably the worst 4th limit out of them all. Ungarmax could rack up twice as much more damage, even without doing 9999 damage per shot

                                I do like all the FF games but overall it's a tie between 7 and 9. They both had good storylines with flowing battle systems that didn't get boring as you progressed further in the game.

                                                The "Generally most used" group in FFX is obviously Tidus, rikku and wakka.
                                                Even though i can easily understand gettin wakka out of the way since his celestial weapon is basically a heartbreaker to get.
                                                If your going to change wakka to anyone do either lulu or yuna.
