Ready for Warlords but having ally cap city moved from BT to wherever is fucking gay. In the worst way. That was literally going to be the coolest thing for me. Im like "MY BASE WILL BE BT HOLY SHIT NO WAY" now it's just another Shrine. Fuckin shitty blitz plz let me pay you every month.

Deep Freeze Stuns the target for 5 sec. Only usable on Frozen targets. This effect will break if the target takes any damage. Mage - Frost Spec. 2% of Base Mana. 35 yd range. Instant. 30 sec cooldown.

So mages have zero true stuns whatsoever now. Unless that talent that made your fire blast stun them for 2 seconds is still in the game (WOTLK talent), and even then its only 2 seconds

Funny coincidence, that. I'm actually kinda being half serious about this lol... The entire time I played WoW, frost mage was a highly viable PvP spec

So the Guildmaster Dethrone ability is fucking stupid.

Because WoW takes so damn long on xpacs and it's easy to run out of things to do, I hadn't logged in for a couple months (nor had many members of the guild for the same reason) and -somebody- was just given the option to just take the GM spot, which he did, and then booted every single other member of the guild (300-some characters altogether)

So this guild which was started by friends in Wrath who've been playing together since Burning Crusade is now the sole possession of an asshole who was just bitter that he was never made an officer. And Blizzard is not going to do a goddamned thing about it.

Had the same issue *almost* happen but a friend snagged it before some thief could run with it.

I also think this was meant by Blizzard to reduce the number of inactive guilds because there are over 1.2 million guild registered in the game.

I mostly care about the name and the guild achievements. The -stuff- I really could not care less about. It's more the completely bullshit attitude that would take control of a guild that had been around that long and just kick everybody.

I hear ya. A fully-established Friend Guild that you've all put time and effort into just to be taken way by some punk looking to liquidate the guild for extra gold is just asinine.

Also, I wish this thread was more active/more updated. I've wanted to meet new people and play with more (since I literally play with nobody, and if I do, it's with my dad).

Well, I'm going to get the guild back.

The person in question turned out not to be an asshole or a punk. They just gave their account info to their brother, who had no connection to anybody and probably just decided "hey why not" when the option came up. Still, very angry at Blizzard for such an asinine system being in place. But as least I don't lose 7 years of achievements, and memories by losing the name.
