No, don't delete anything.
Open up whatever you download and let it extract somewhere. Run the installer that just extracted. Then open up the patches and just replace whatever files need to be replaced in the Perfect World folder that you just installed to.

It says I don't have permission to enter the web page whenever I click on the link for the patch. I'm logged in also.

It says that for me also, cause I deleted the files to try and start over since I'm sure I messed up the patch file placements.

That's the error I get when I try to install the patch from the direct link to filefront that you gave me, Reach.

Every time I try to run, it says I'm missing "IFC22.dll".
Any idea as to what this is?

That's weird. IFC22 is a file in the element folder. It's not in the patch at all? o_O

I'm going to go try and see if I can access the server, I think I got each file in the patch to its right location this time.

Ok, something really weird just happened.

I made a character before the server maintenance and played around a bit, now I get back online and my character is gone. Made a new one, and went to do the water beetle quest.

Killed one, jumped all the way to level 17. o_O

Did they up the exp rate or something?

EDIT: and should I put a crapload of points into DEX, or is there a specific build for the Yu Mang characters?

EDIT2: I forgot to say this, my ign is "Fin".
