star craft is a great game, i myself still play it, and im also hooked on the other blizzard games : Diablo 2, LOD, WC3.
its more fun when you know friends and play together ^^..

I used to play it. VERY good game, very fun too. But you need alot of strategic thinking, in Melee that is. Also are you getting Starcraft? Or Starcraft: Broodwar? Get Broodwar but you also need starcraft itself, since broodwar is the expansion pack.

I am getting both, i think. I think it comes with the regular one and the Brood War expansion all in one package.

Starcraft is by far one of the best all time games, if not one of the best RTS games (and it is up there, for sure). Very fun, addicting, and online play rules as long as you don't care about some stupid mods (which are coincidentally quite fun).

Online play is the best because computers are too easy, i could prolly 7v1 them using terran.
However the only thing wrong with online play is that there are too may hackers! Blizz should really find a way to fix it. When 1.10 patch came out it prevented hacks from working, but in like less than a week new hacks were made to bypass blizzards security.

eye hart SC. Best game, I stayed up for 2 days playing Sniperz. Great game, I play it online at the cyber cafe sometimes. EVOLVES pwns you, actually, I pwn you in EVOLVES cause I=king of evolvsing.

NUKES are fuN, yeah, the best thing about starcraft is the expansion and mind control, when you can create a multiple race base, with the best of all three worlds, that and multiplayer.

uh there are no hacks for sc they fixed it so it will not have any hacks.. so far i havent seen any. if i did i would report it but i dont..

Theres hacks. Trust me, everytime they get rid of them, they're back the next day.

And yea, comps suck. I could take 7v1 on the hunters in like 30 minutes, usually just mass shuttle drops behind their minerals to keep their resource flow minimal, while i mass zealots or something and up speed and crush them all usually at once.

Awesome game. If you do get it, make sure you get the Brood War expansion, adds a hell of alot of different UMS games due to the different units in the new maps. Toads turret D is fun I like being middle, and if I don't get to be middle, I steal :P

I should be getting it on Saturday, I downloaded the demo and I am stuck on the second mission. Not that I couldn't beat it, its just I am to lazy to find the people and I like the mass producing people and killing their base.
