Yeah, the idea sucks. Also leave out the idea for 3-d ssbm. It will have the same fate as street fighter 3-D.

Care to pay attention to the first post and explain why?

it wouldnt be all that great and it would just kind of ruin the whole series

Other than the fact that you bumped like crazy, read the first freaking post.

Ok....the grafics wouldnt be all that great it would look like a 2-D side scroller
The screen is too small and would be annoying to play on
Brawl was supposed to be the last super smash game they make
A ds is not as advanced
Nobody wants to wait that long for another super smash game to come out
there happy, i can give more but i dont want to type that much

Have you not played any DS games? Even if the graphics were to be completely 2-D, redirect yourself to the screenshots of Jump Ultimate Stars that I posted or the Jump Ultimate Stars Wikipedia article.

The screen is too small and would be annoying to play on
Again, redirect yourself to the screenshots and previous posts in this thread.

Please take note to how old this thread was before you posted in it.

Even without delays, people would have waited a long time and even longer to play Brawl.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm shoving a foot up your ass, but half of your problems could have been solved by reading the previous posts.

yes but then again would you really play that game as much as the previous games

also what would the story line be? the smash cast gets into ANOTHER situation? imean why not just make a whole line of sequels?

Unless it was a remake of Melee somehow enabling Gamecube controller hook-up and online play, this would be awful. Pure Multiplayer would be needed, no storymode, unless it was just a pure Melee remake. Brawl is decent at best so far.

Story-lines? Correct me if I'm wrong, but SSB had NO story line at all, nor did SSBM (unless you are counting the god awful "adventure mode" as a story line). Brawl was the first to have a story line, and they actually did it pretty well.
