By the way, aside from the Shield and Dash problems, the Wiimote-only setup isn't too bad. I've had the worst experience with the Classic Controller, so far.

I mean, I haven't tried the GC controller with Brawl, but I'm sure it's just as good as in Melee.

About six hours of trying, I finally beat Duon with Toon Link.

Only to die in two attacks from Tabuu.

How the hell can people do this. Seriously. It took me six goddamn hours just to get to Tabuu on Intense ONE TIME.

I really wish I knew, because it was the biggest of my troubles during some of the boss battles.

It has something to do with sprinting from standstill, I think.

tried cruel brawl and got 5 :/ i killed myself too
but i found some pretty good tactics for kirby and pikachu that work :/ and you dont get hit often

Finally, got my Wifi working on my laptop (Vista) so now it doesn't lag at all.
Even in random matches with 4 people.
Plays amazing.
Now i can actually play people =D

Got up to 7 in 2 tries of Cruel just now. I'll finish it off for 10 later.

So why can you trip? That is gotta be the stupidest thing in this game.

For some reason, Sakurai decided that giving you a 1/100 chance to trip whenever you begin to walk or sprint was a good idea. This means you can also trip by changing directions.

I think tripping is pretty much universally hated, so I wonder why he decided to put it in...

My friend is cheap he used golden hammer to get 10 cruel kills and get the snake sticker (IIRC).
Now's he's rubbing it in my face cause I can only get 4 cruel kills.
Also I played Boss Battle on Hard and got destroyed by Tabuu, now I am sad.

one way that seems to work with pikachu, is to grab onto the edge , then do down b, hits the guys on the side , jump back up to ledge and keep doing it over, but its kind of hard to do

Cruel Brawl:

Jigglypuff. Three jumps underneath the stage to other side. Ledge. Drop, repeat.

You'll soon learn what kind of motions lure the guys to drop off the side and follow you despite not being able to get to you.

I remember I did cruel on melee with peach. Lure them (easy since she floats) and get under a platform, d-smash until their percents are above 50% and then f-air them to death. I think I got around 25? Takes a lot of practice though.
