Hahaha oh wow.
I was digging around for some fast-buck private servers today. I wanted to test a frost mage build since mine is fire. I had a server before that was 400x but it has since gone down.
So running through the list I find one marked "10000% experience". Sounded good to me, so I took it. Register, log on, play. Made alliance this time, since I was tired of undead and because gnomes look awesome. Looked around their starting place, which is pretty neat. Saw an exclamation point for a quest and took it. Said to kill wolves. So I did.
I kill a level 1 wolf and I get to level 60.
So hay, that was fun. I had no money to buy skills and the noob clothes, but I was level 60. I eventually located some humanoids to kill and, apparently, found out that they also increased the gold drop. 70 GOLD from one enemy. I bought all of my skills instantly. Oh, and mounts are cool too.
Suddenly the game is boring to me. That's a good thing, since I was getting a little too (for a lack of a better word) addicted to the game.
Exploring is still the best part of the game, so I might get back on my original mage (who just hit 40) and continue on, but eh. Even he had it well. Found blue items left and right. Had 4 12-slot bags. Lockboxes dropped 1/10 times. It was pretty sweet.
I'll keep it around if I ever feel like making a class I've not been before, but as of now I'm pretty much done =)
