Final Fantasy 1 through 9, Super Mario RPG, Zelda Series, Xenosaga, Illusion of Gaia, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Legend of LeGaia, Legend of Dragoon.

Games like that bring a joy and a certain type of warmth because of the excitement in the game, the beautiful story, the evil plots, the love triangles, the awesome character designs, you name it.

I'm overcome with joy when I play those types of games, I guess I like to imagine myself in the main chars spot like everyone else probably does and sort of take on the roll as you would if you had been reading a good book.

I am surprised that no one has pointed it out yet.

Oh and Grandia got me into writing storylines and stuff.

I aspire to become a game programmer.

I've learned to read because I wanted to learn to play Lemmings.

I've also come to appreciate music via FFR.

Yeah, I'd say playing music games made me realize that I really do like music. I always have, really, I just didn't notice it until I started playing. The thing that really made me want to play DDR, though, is that one of my friends, who has an awesome taste in games(he got me into Disgaea and others), actually attempted to play it and didn't do half bad at the time. Considering it was one of his first times, I was pretty surprised he got that enormous 44 combo on Twilight Zone. It wasn't really his game, though, as it belonged to his (hot Asian) sister.

It's bothering me a ton, too. Doesn't it imply that YOU are the video game that impacted you? o___________O

But uh, I'd say DDR impacted me because I'm here now because of it. I've met all you cool (and uncool) people and had plenty of laughs here over the years. =)

Yeah, if it weren't for DDR, we wouldn't even be here talking to each other. For someone to hang around for multiple years and have several thousand posts shows that FFR is, in a way, part of our life. Without DDR, hmm, we'd be playing Gaia or something.

This has already been said, but DDR showed me how much I like music. I am taking music in college due to DDR.

I also was inspired to write a book from a couple of games, but I dont think I ever completed a book.

Im thinking of trying agian, anyway.

Also the story to Time Crisis 3 did alot for me to relize that a story dosnt have to be far-fithced for it to be good ( not that Im saying TC3 is about story....)

All video games inspired me too think about taking game development as my future profession. DDR has inspired me to listen and possibly start to make music.

DDR has inspired me to stay fit and stuff and making stepfiles for songs I like. Other than that, video games have just been a help me to set goals for myself in that game.

And yeah, Music games got me into music a lot. That's about it, really.
