I can do a simple flash, the motion tweening isn't what gets to me. I am OCD and a perfectionist and I just can't get the right drawing. I see some awsome flashes and I want to make some of my own, but it just never comes out the way I want. I am going to get a tablet soon so I don't have to worry about it. I really want to find a good program to make games with, like FFR and Outwar and Adventure Quest big, but just not the same style. I want to make that game I have been writing up so badly.
Assuming you can easily navigate Flash and you're used to the interface, this tutorial is a blessing:
Frame-by-frame is hard but I kinda prefer it, too. The motion just seems a lot more natural. I will check it out and thx. I hope I can find the time and if I can I will try to work on that game idea I posted. Is there anyone who is good with flash that would like to help me out? Lord Carbo will you help? You sound like you have a good grasp on flash. I have to get some money and I won't be able to get the game started for a while. I am saving for a laptop with a ton of memory and it is good for video and games and things like that. Unfortunately it is like $1,000 and the Flash Maker is like $600-$700 not including the expansion. So it may be a while, but when I get my stuff I will try to get it started and post it when it is working. I may be able to use a demo version of flash until I make enough money.
Maybe you could try asking some of the people that helped make FFR, just a suggestion. Odds are Synth is too busy to help you out here, but I'm sure others worked on it at least a bit.

No, sorry :/ Most of my experience is in animation and I'm not a fan of big group projects that get done in my free-time, and if this is a small project I'm sure you can do it yourself.
Let me explain. You choose one type of class like sniper, infantry, heavy artillery, or scout. Then you choose a secondary class, which I am still debating to either add a whole new set or just keep the originals, and create your character based on those classes. Me I would choose, sniper/scout. I would then work my stats in shoulder strength, accuracy, speed, and some points on my rifle.
You choose two weapons. One main and one secondary. I would choose a high-end sniper rifle and a good semi-automatic weapon with zoom function.
You have many things to upgrade and two-three ways to do it. 1. Level, money, and skill points. Leveling up would affect all of you skills and body. Money is used to upgrade your guns and skill points are used to upgrade both.
Your body upgrades include eyes/accuracy, hands/grip, shoulder/recoil, chest/armor, feet+legs/jump+dodge+speed.
Your gun upgrades include, ammo clip, trigger, spring, scope, barrel and recoil.
Your levels include, your weapons, gun smithing, ammo making, and much more.
going back to ur idea first, it sounds interesting, but i was just wondering, wud it be like diablo overhead interface? fps? or even 2-d side-scrolling like maplestory? anyways, itd be a while before u can move up to that level, but goodluck
