My three best and favorite are Ivy, Cervantes, and Voldo in that order.

Raphael rules. Especially with the Queen's Guard. Although the Reiterpallasch remains to be my favorite weapon(no reason in particular). His speed in his attacks is incredible. and he has decent range. His A+B moves are really ueful for regaining the initiative. The trick with Raphael is to keep your opponent stunned with rapid attacks and footwork.

Guilty Gear X2 for life.

When Sammy vs. Capcom comes out, it will rule. And then, when Guilty Gear Isuka comes out, all other fighting games will be put to shame.

SCII is still pretty good, though.

Guilty Gear....I haven't played that game for a while. Sol and that ninja guy rocked ass. Oh right...SCII. My brother bought the game and lost it....what a dumb bastard. That game was wicked. I support Nintendo so my first choice was Link. He is still my best character but now I am more open to trying others. Nightmare rocked so much. Kilik is so l33t. anyone thinks otherwise they do not know what they are talking about. Voldo is just dumb and Raphael is.... a pansy. Yet if he uses his Soul Edge he is almost undefeatable. Taki is wicked. Talim is kind of cheap but that only depends on who you are using. Otherwise she is alright. Because of Link the gamecube version rocked all others. Spawn is cool but he can't compete against Link and his Great Fairy Sword. Oh and I dislike Link's bonus outifts. He should've been the Great Deity from Majora's Mask as one of the outfits. And I think that he should have been able to use the Great Deities sword as well. Woulda made that game perfect. But I still love it.

Anyway, the PS2 character (Heihachi) sucked...I liked Link the best out of the three bonus characters also, but I hate, hate, hate playing SCII on a gamecube controller. They're bad to begin with (although don't even talk about the Xbox Controller F), but trying to play SCII on a controller so uncomfortable and random is hell. *shudders*.

One thing I don't like though...both Spawn and Link both seem really cartoony to me in the game. Has anyone else noticed this?

Necrid has the potential to be really cheap, since he has moves from all (or most) of the characters. However, he's hard to use well...not a great button masher.

Ok. Gamecube controllers are the best controllers out there. If you own one and get used to them they are just beautiful. You should give them more credit.

Not for SCII. For SCII the cube controllers are by far the worst. Their control scheme is random and uncoordinated, and it's just dammed uncomfortable.

And they are very much not the best controllers anyway...Duelshock 2 rules all, I'm sorry but it's true. It's the only control scheme that is actually comfortable and ergonomic to hold, and the only buttom layout that makes any sort of logical sense.
