It's hard for charm things to fight stuff above them without using lots of pots. Even with all the def. Now that I have gelda throw, it's just expensive to do so.
EDIT:
Could Scorpio or Z3ratul or someone please get me 53 acorn necklaces (drop from the queen squirrels by mega)? I'll pay you back once I'm out of my monetary trough... I just want gelda throw to have max potential.
when you get to higher levels can you travel freely from island to island? because right now i am stuck on coral island (not that i can play because i am at my moms house)
Tyler, just hold down Alt and it shows the level of everything around you. Only fight things higher, unless you're like me and want to save money so you can buy a gun, in which case fight things that do 0 damage to you. 8)
But yeah, I love that defense actually matters in this game. Now I see why people advise against 4141 builds and things that completely don't give any defense at all. <3 def almost as much as I <3 higher attack
EDIT: Oh yeah, try different classes. Some are easier to start with and are therefore more fun, others get better eventually but take patience.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
I'm currently killing Torpedoes and Pyupyus. The torpedoes drop black gunpowder which an NPC will pay extra for three maps up. 300 geldar for one. I had fifty when I went up.
I still can't wait for my new attack, which won't be for a long, long while...
Foxes or whatever the other sense class is can use guns, too, but apparently in 2nd job they have more throwing/dagger skills than guns, so Lions are supposed to be better for guns.
I HAD to be a gunner for my FiddyCent character, cuz anything else just wouldn't make sense. I gotta be able to pop caps in the asses of bitchass mother ****ers, cuz I'm a mother ****in' gangsta, bi-atchhhhhh!!!

Yeah this game is really great so far, and I'll probably make a Lion tommorow so I can "pop caps in the asses of bitchass mother ****ers", as EB would put it.
I recognize you here because of your avatar/sig. I am terrible with names, though, so your name is only faintly familiar.
And a warning about Sense types: They are very slow in the beginning. They're weak and don't have too much defense, so you 1) won't be able to kill monsters easily for quests and 2) will use lots of pots. Because of that, you'll be super poor. My warrior is making tons more money and is getting levels MUCH faster.
Of course, money is the main problem. Really, all I'd need to do is get my warrior going pretty good then transfer money to my gunner and I'd be set. That's why I'm playing him for now. BUT DONT WORRY, I WILL PLAY MY GUNNER SOME, AND ONCE HE HAS MONEY TO DO STUFF I WILL PLAY HIM THE MOST!!
