Re: The Wii is Here.
We just got Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree. After about 2 hours of playing both multi- and single-playered, we're having a blast. Unfortunately, it has Warioware syndrome, only allowing up to two remotes when there are 4+ player minigames. It really does stretch your mind, but once you get the hang of the activities, it's a lot of fun. I'd recommend it perhaps for a rental, and if you really like it, then buy it.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Just recieved RE4 Wii edition in the mail and have played up to (I think) two savepoints. This is the first time I've played absolutely any resident evil game and I'm pretty impressed. The only thing I dislike so far is you can't shoot while moving, so when I go into aiming mode I usually hold the stick forward which causes a direction change in my view that I really didn't want. Quick slashing with knife and reloading works out well once you get past the fact that you should've looked in the player's manual in the first place.
Not sure if it's worth the buy if you've already played it for the previous generation, but I sure am loving it myself.Leave a comment:

Re: The Wii is Here.
Ok I don't know about one player but Mario Strikers is awesome muliplayer. Not online, just multiplayer. I haven't seen it online yet. My mate bought it and we played it all day yesterday. It's mad on all scales. I don't know how long it'll last but it was so fun. Half the time stuff was happening and goals were being scored and I didn't know what i was doing. Crap was either getting blown up or struck by lightning.Leave a comment:

Guilty Gear confirmed for Wii.
I'll probably be using the Gamecube controls on that one. Most fighting games aren't ready for Wii controls. I hear Bleach was an amazing swordfighter 1v1 fighting game, but meh. After seeing Mortal Kombat try, I know it's not too great an idea. I'm still interested to see how Super Smash Bros. can do it.Leave a comment:

It's not like it ever died, either.
The biggest post-gap is like a week or two.

Nintendo has promised that their online service will always be free. Whether or not a 3rd Party company charges for their game is a different story altogether.Leave a comment:

Wait, are you serious? How much will this online pay cost?

Re: The Wii is Here.
Pretty sure I said it before.
As soon as Mario Strikers / Pokemon / Battalion Wars / Metroid Prime 3 / Super Smash Bros comes out, we'll have online play.
Any country with these games out already (Europe / Australia has Strikers, Japan has Pokemon) has online play already.Leave a comment:
