Last-minute revision!

I reconsidered over MGS for a while and came up with this.

A) Viewtiful Joe.
B) Splinter Cell.

Thoughts? I mean, SC is only 20 bucks new. I really want to get a game to counter a new one so when I get pissed off at one I play the other.

Moogy, since I trust your Video Game knowledge extensively, I'm going to take your opinion as pure fact and not get Splinter Cell.

Though, after seeing the trailers for MGS:TTS and Splinter Cell, I'm not sure I want either. Besides...my friend has MGS1 and 2 that I might be able to borrow. Maybe.

Unblock me from AIM (and if I'm not blocked...sign on for the first time in the 5 months you've been on my list.) so we can discuss this elsewhere. I really want to get two games tomorrow.

Ok. List time.
(A) You get Viewtiful Joe. It's a good investment.
(B) You get Wario Ware: Mega Party Game$. I swear to god, if you get a few friends over to play Wario Ware, you will fall in love with it. It will also make a great stress-reliever if you get pissed at VJ. Trust me on this one. Plus, it's pretty cheap. I suspect as cheap as your $20 Splinter Cell.
(C) Splinter Cell may or may not be your type. I, personally found it was a good game but it wasnt...Strict enough. Having played through Mission: Impossible 64, which is an incredibly hard game even on Easy mode, no stealth game seems hard enough.
(D) You could probably beat Spider-Man 2 in under one rental like I did, but it's a fun game worth checking out.
(E) You go buy a X-Box and get Burnout 3. Burnout 3 is easily the best fucking racing game of this year.

(A) I concur wholeheartedly.

(B) I even told you I did that already. I beat it a month or two ago.

(C) If it's anything like the bond games then I won't consider it too much. I have Agent Under Fire and Nightfire...Nightfire was alright.

(D) Spiderman 1 sucked so horribly that any attempts to validate it have failed miserably.

(E) A buddy of mine at college has it. I will never need to waste money on an Xbox. I'm going to force my friend to get Fable so I can play that too.

I'll be going back to plan B on this one. Plan B being just to get VJ tomorrow.

What? You already beat Wario Ware?

Damn.

Splinter Cell is nothing like James Bond. There's no disguises and such. Your basic objective throughout the game is to defeat (kill or knock out) everyone without being detected.

I found Nightfire to be pretty disappointing. That last level was soooo gay, for all the hype that was surrounding it. But I liked the insta-kill pen.

So, I went to the store today. Yea. Another last minute revision occured while meeting with my friend to go together. Ended up being that I bought him Fable (he will pay me back for this) and I bought the following:

1) Viewtiful Joe.
2) Skies of Arcadia.

VJ was 18 bucks. SoA was 20. I'd heard at least a few good things about Skies and since it was so cheap I just bought it on impulse. I can return it within 7 days if I don't like it (doubtful).

nice choice- both are awesome. Im currently playing SoA myself
