Though most people don't know how sinking mechanics work in the first few days of playing unless they go through the wiki or are paranoid about it like I am and make sure how sinking works before ever going on a sortie :V

i may be ready to like, go through easy mode, or like e-1/2 on medium and the rest easy. i don't have very many good planes, so i might just play it safe and stay easy the whole time

event starts on monday!

yeah I'm probably gonna do easy mode as well, especially with the new information on the event regarding it being large-scale and shiplocking returning for Normal and up.

Also, apparantly this time around, hard is "very hard" according to devs, so that scares me out of medium w/ ship locking too i think.

e-1 medium cleared, not bad. Took the top path every time, and i'm still at 197 buckets (i started with like 210 rip me) and resources are fine

time to easy mode the rest fo the way idgaf

you don't need to set up a vpn every time if you use some tools made by the community (namely, KCV)

gonna try E-2 Hard, because people say it's not that bad, and i need good planes. E-3 and onwards i think i'll stick with easy

edit - i just pussied out of hard, and did medium. Carrier task fleet:

day 2, first run of e-2 today, kiyoshimo dropped. allllll the dds

e-2 cleared, and shoukaku dropped from boss node. she's the last constructible carrier that i didn't have, really happy to get a couple of those quests out of the way now

I finished both E-1 and E-2 hard mode last night.

They were both a joke to me. I did E-1 in 7 runs, the first two sent me back because Yukikaze couldn't dodge for shit, so I switched her out for Amatsukaze, and got to the boss and sank her 5 straight times.

E-2 was beaten in 6 runs, all runs to boss node. I used the Carrier Task force for this, and 5 out of the 6 times I sank the boss in day battle no problem. Last kill only took it to night battle where we finished her off easy regardless.

Gonna try E-3 either today or tomorrow, however my server's being a bit dumb and keep giving me error cats so I'm waiting until they fix that issue.

E-3 was really easy, but there's a thing for E-5 where if you use the combo of suzuya+kumano, or mikuma+mogami, you get a much easier route than otherwise, so save one of those pairs b/c shiplocking sucks

finished e-3 yesterday easily, like one ship got moderate damage once in all the runs i think? still chugging through e-4, not being much of a problem (but i'm still only on easy mode, oh well)
