If they want to make an 800 dollar console and sell it for 500 dollars or less than great. I don't plan on buying one. If they do put 800 dollars worth of hardware into the ps4 than it will be way ahead of the ps3.

Doesn't matter to me anyway, I havent gotten a console since the 1st gen xbox 360 and it died.

here's more stupidity to throw on the situation if you guys didn't get enough from before or something; someone in class told me it was going to be able to play PSX/2/3 games. This wasn't even a joke either. They somehow honestly believed that it could.

Anyway PS4 will have time to prove itself. I just hope there will be games that I can enjoy.

Sadly, I think I have yet to become a PC gamer. The only few games I played on there were educational ones. Maybe I'm too stubborn, but I just love to separate my machines; one is for my school projects, while the other does nothing except play games. It doesn't help that I'm a sucker for Nintendo franchises as well. Right now, I think I'll just stick with my Wii U and my sunglasses on. It has everything I could ask for in a console; good tech support, balanced gimmicks, traditional titles and, most of all, backward compatibility (!!!)

Well that's not completely false :P
Since Sony bought Gaikai, they're gonna implement it into the PS4. The Gaikai founder said during the conference that he expects you'll be able to stream PSX, PS2, and PS3 games sometime in the future.

You'll probably have to buy the games over again though.

I figured somehow they'd implement PSN into it. Not that I care. I just don't like having to buy my games again just to play them on a better system. :\

PS4 conference was interesting. The touchpad on the controller is stupid. Give me buttons and that's all I need. It's so small anyway I don't even know how they're going to use it in any meaningful way. Share button isn't anything new to me since I already own a Dazzle and LOL they're using Ustream over twitch. MS must have gotten that one first.

Drive Club. Hilarious name, but could be seriously cool. If they don't have some kind of 24 hours of Le Mans type race I will be pissed because that is the first thing I think of in terms of team based driving.

Square showed the Agni's demo again and then ANNOUNCED AN ANNOUNCEMENT of a new final fantasy. Cool story bro. You've been developing a new Final Fantasy game every day since 1987. We know.

Capcom's Deep Down looks interesting, but I don't know enough about it to make any kind of judgement.

I didn't know what the Witness was when it was happening, but after checking it out more, I'm hyped.

D3 on PS3 and PS4!!! yeah dont give a damn. It's a PC game and it's probably gonna be worse on console.

Gai Kai stuff: don't care. I still own a PS1,2, and 3 so streaming old games to my new console (where I'll most likely have to pay for them again!) doesn't interest me.

I hope they find a way to make it work. I've been playing Diablo since before I could even read, so I love the first 2 and their expansions immensely, I'd really hate to see them fuck it up now.

D1 on PSX is a pretty collectible game worth a pretty penny now. Any time you can get $40+ for a PS1 game is a good time.
