ciphers are fun an all, and no one's been using them in a way that would be especially naughty, and force your lovely instructor to act, which is appreciated

however, lets leave such things outside of FFRTWG threads, where they are, if nothing else, against the spirit of the game and bad for the integrity of the game

I'd love to do a list like I've seen some people doing, but I have a hard time associating people, their comments and their name, yet.

It gets easier the more you do, you just have to try it a few times. You can always just start at page 16(if on default 20 post per page) and read the EOD to now and then make a list of you're short on time. That's where most of the action takes place

Al Bhed is a fictional "language" from the video game Final Fantasy X (which is one of my favorite games of all time, the story was very impactful to me when I first played it)

If you know that, or had a wolfteammate in wolfchat who explained it to you, you would have just googled the many Al Bhed translators online to read it, and used one to see what qamhoy meant

I will believe you that you didn't get any outside knowledge of what the codes messages were, and apologize you went through all that work for essentially me shit posting with Xel

frequency analysis is just looking at which letters appear the most. you can infer a handful of letters based on that alone, but it's trivial to figure out entire words based on context

good ol' notepad always does the trick
