The point there is wolves are pretty much are always told to pay very close attention to the thread all day when there's no out of thread communication, and usually the strategy is to stay logged out as a guest and hit refresh every 10-15 minutes.

That's a great explanation but it doesn't explain why with two days of knowledge about how this phase should go down that you would open the phase with a vote that you would suddenly take back when it looked like it was going to get you killed.
