Hey guys, you have like 7 jtwg players now. And I heard a bunch of people are going to be coming back to play this next twg. So I am thinking there may be enough people to play the next jtwg. Assuming that Manti's game will be a basic one, not a big one. So I am thinking jtwg will still be on. So everyone who played the last jtwg should keep checking back, because I am pretty sure there will be another one.

I'm freaking pissed, an expert division with some of the least competent players we've seen since I joined. Either way what's going on with this? I'll go for host or player right now...any takers?

I thought jTWG was also created to introduce people into TWG. So if I can't join a jTWG, I'll have to sign up for a TWG. You only need to games in jTWG, for TWG right? if so i'm set

You have to have participated in a jTWG before entering into a regular TWG. That is, if your quality of play is respectable.

I disagree with edu's thoughts on completely removing jTWG. Without it, the normal TWG would be screwed over (as seen in Manti's game) and there wouldn't be games that can sharpen new players' skills.

I suggest in reforming TWG board: making this area even more public, not just a Sub-forum from "Game" threads. To compensate, assign Moderator positions to those that frequent this board. Shashakiro has nearly disappeared from FFR, and Manti and can't do it alone.

Also, postponing the next jTWG at least a month would be a great idea. Or if certain circumstances are met (enough players, worthy host, easy game, etc.), then start it if the majority rules in favor.

making the TWG forum public is what ruined it in the first place, and plenty of vets agree 100% with me on this. making it fully public would only make it worse.

Might as well give this a shot.

Players: 12-14, something like that.
1 Master Wolf
2 Normal Wolves
1 Cursed Human
Rest are Normal Humans

Seering in this game will be done by 2 orbs, allowing 2 seers a night. Every night, the two orbs are given to 2 randomly selected people who have not received an orb on the previous night. I'll refer to them here as Orb A and Orb H, but in the game, there is no distinguishing feature between the two, so the people that get them will not know which one they have. Orb H will be recieved by humans only, but Orb A will go out to anybody at all, including wolves. Normal wolves will be seered red by both orbs, and normal humans will be seered green by both orbs. The Master Wolf will be seered red by Orb A and green by Orb H. The Cursed Human will be seered red by Orb A and green by Orb H. Finally, the most important thing about the orbs- the seer result will actually be received by the player holding the other orb.

Although this will lead the possibility of finding 2 wolves on the same night, it's also possible that both seers can be wasted on the same night (third example).

Examples: Assume player 1 is MW, 2/3 are normal wolves, 4 is CH, and rest are normal humans.

-Player 11 gets orb A, and player 12 gets orb H. 11 seers 1, and 12 seers 2. At the end of the night, 11 will see that 2 is red, and 12 will see that 1 is red.

-Player 8 gets orb A, and player 9 gets orb H. Both seer player 4. 8 will see 4 as green, but 9 will see 4 as red.

-Player 1 gets orb A, and player 6 gets orb H. 1 seers 6, and 6 seers 3. 1 will see that 3 is red, and 6 will see that 6 is green :P

Edit: ack. CH will not know they are CH. Unless CH gets information that they were seered 'red'.

Look, most of the vets don't even come around here anymore, ffs. I was also against the idea for TWG to be public, but our userbase is slowly dwindling. Sure the games won't be the same, but only for a little while. People get better, some faster than others, some slower, but I do agree that it's better [i]overall[i] to have TWG public.


IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN PAYING ATTENTION, WE'RE SUSPENDING JTWG UNTIL THERE'S A REASONABLY FAIR AMOUNT OF PLAYERS.
