Northern Watchtower, 1247 Hours.

A mighty rumbling shakes the earth, halting the friendly discourse among the members of Mobius.

“Hey, what the hell...?” Tair has scarcely uttered his surprised response before the room goes suddenly, inexplicably dark. The lights are out.

“What...what’s going on out there?” Psykit is quick to look out the window at the landscape outside.

“Possibly just a black out?” Ether replies.

“No, no, no,” says Tair, “blackouts never cause that kinda shock.”

There is a moment of silence before a piercing, metallic sound rips the air; a bright, bluish blast of light illuminates the company from behind. They turn around to witness an astonishing sight. The city’s shield generator has exploded, and they watch in stunned silence as the scorched generator core falls from the upper level to the ground, nearly bringing its casing with it. The soft, transparent glow of the shield dome begins to waft away, the city’s main protection now gone.

Hardly a second passes by until they break and run to their stations. “Get all defense systems online now!” Ether commands. Sure enough, they are coming under attack: Tair spots dust clouds on the horizon. The source of the dust clouds soon becomes clear: an army of war vehicles, planes, and a vast array of fearsome looking creatures, all led by a single figure. Tair knew them upon sight. #000 and his legions had finally come for Alkem City.

"Sound the alarm!" he screams. "Tell everyone to evacuate!" Ran has already clambered to the control room, lifted the painted cover, and pressed the emergency alarm button. A piercing sirenlike wail emits from every speaker, fading out slightly to give way for Ran's panicked voice. "General Alert! The city is under attack! The shield wall is down! Everyone evacuate to the underlevels immediately! This is not a drill! Evacuate NOW!"


"All exterior defense units come in!" Psykit shouts into a headset as she speeds down a flight of stairs. "This is Mobius! We have a massive amount of incoming hostiles from the north! Use every weapon you've got! Do NOT let them in!"

The battle raged on for hours. The exterior defense units kept them off for a while, but #000 would not let his loyal army die for nothing. He eventually destroyed all their firepower and broke into the city. The city's armed forces were massacred. The shield generator was repaired in time to prevent further break-ins, but this left the remaining soldiers trapped inside with the Chimera....

Best storyline evar.

Player Signups are now closed. Backups are still welcome, as I suspect some inactivity.

Game thread to come soon, but for now I have to do homework.
