Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
WEE OOO WEE OO WEE OO.
Going to polarize it a bit:
16 Players
4 Wolves
4 Elders (unknown to each other)
1 Wolfsbane
7 Humans
Red/Green Cardflipping
Wolfsbane cannot guard himself.
Other Option
16 Players
3 Wolves
4 Elders. Elders know each other
Red/Green Cardflipping
9 Humans
@Rioting, can you run the numbers on those when you find time?Lost: packet, 42 bytes, last seen on a saturated OC3.
Reward: $$10,000,000,000.Comment

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
Odd, I thought of sert's post when I read 'weeoweeo' also.
About the setup:
Pairs of elders + bane of ether type would be splendid, as far as I'm concerned.
A 4 person auto alliance is HUGE.
(In the previous sentence 'HUGE' can be replaced with 'way too powerful')
Mmm, cake.
I think that the game would be pretty alright like that, and I would definitely want to play it.Comment

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
GAME 1:
I really want to see a game with more blues in it (with actual powers)
18 person game
4 wolves(1 master), 1 wolfsbane, 1 vigilante, 1 seer, 11 humans.
Wolfsbane guards someone but not himself. If he/she picks correctly a random wolf dies
Wolfsbane cannot protect from vigilante
If vigilante comes out before he kills someone then he is automatically killed.
Once the Vigilante kills someone, he turns into a regular human. He is also Seer'd green as the Vigilante.
Open to suggestions. Also, if this one is picked(revised or not) can someone else host it? I really want to play again lol.Last edited by jwcgator; 01-21-2007, 10:20 PM.Comment

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
I think the 18 player superhuman + seer vs 3 wolves (1 master) game should be played just to prove a point for one side or the other. >_>I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.Comment

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
I think witness should be more like:GAME 2:
Witness: Not so much an actual role as it is a tactic. From the second night on, one human may PM the host, asking to bear witness to that night's kill. Unless that player is chosen to be killed that night (in which case the tactic remains unused), the Witness is told the identity of one of the werewolves. However, at the same time, that wolf is then informed which player had been spying on them. At that point, the next day often becomes a matter of who can convince the others to vote against the other.[/url]
Upon a certain condition being met, the host will roll a die with sides equal to the number of players, the chosen play is then informed of one of the wolves identity (random) and the wolf is also informed of the witness's identity.
For certain condition being met, it could be something like:
N1 = Roll 1 100-Sided die, upon revealing a 1-5, the witness event is triggered. (5 % chance)
N2 = Roll 1 100 Sided die, upon revealing a 1-15, the witness event is triggered. (15 % chance)
N3 = Roll 1 100-Sided die, upon revealing a 1-30, the witness event is triggered. (30 % chance)
N4 = Roll 1 100 Sided die, upon revealing a 1-50, the witness event is triggered. (50 % chance)
N5 = Roll 1 100 Sided die, upon revealing a 1-75, the witness event is triggered. (75 % chance)
N6 = If by night six the witness event has not triggered, it will trigger.
(also, if these numbers seem off from what someone has used/seen, I just made them up.)Comment
